2025 Apr 3: The Weaver of Five Dooms

 The Weaver of Five Dooms is a spider demon who lives in the mines of Caeledor. Due to the services she performed to the gods, she was allowed to decide the fates of five mortals of her choosing. Obviously she chose the five greatest heroes she knew about, and has decided the most humiliating deaths for each of them. However she has a problem: Conn, the fourth hero has escaped her clutches, and now wanders the world, his destiny unfulfilled. 

The Weaver of the Five Dooms looks like a giant black spider, with multiple animal skeletons for heads, the eye sockets of which burn with ghostly purple flames. She can stand more than two meters tall, and has the bodies of her previous three victims rigged up like marionettes with her silk threads, making a confrontation with her quite dangerous (the bodies of the heroes still have their fabled magical items, and Weaver knows how to activate them). The one weakness of this setup is that if someone spots the very fine threads she uses to move the bodies around, they can cut them, rendering that hero-puppet (and its equipment) unusable until Weaver can rig it up to move again (this takes almost an entire day of continuous work).

Weaver has quite a large hoard of treasure herself, mostly gifts from the locals, meant to appease her, but also some magic items from those that attempted to slay her. Due to her current predicament, she is quite willing to offer a substantial payment to anyone who can bring Conn back to her. She will also emphasize that this is needed for the balance of the cosmos and the weave of Fate to continue undisturbed. Communing with any gods will confirm this claim.

While normally quite lofty and imperious, the desperation of her situation is catching up to Weaver, so she will drop her condescending attitude to anyone she thinks might be able to take on Conn, and ask them in a relatively neutral, if anxious tone if they are willing to help her.

 Ea-Ir is handsome young man, quick to laugh and quick to anger. He wears colorful robes and a well-oiled beard to appear more impressive. As the son of the Sorcerer-King he has inherited command over light and heat. He mostly uses this to have a slight halo of light around his head, or to have the air around him ripple and twist, as if his body was extremely hot. This show of his powers gains him friends as quickly as enemies. Most of the older men in power love him, as he is very good at pretending he is like what they imagine their younger selves to be. The priesthood however tends to look down of such displays of magical power, claiming it’s using the gift of the gods for mere parlor tricks. The prince knows that his inheritance is not secure as long as his sister is alive, but can’t act directly against her while their father lives. Lore24 Mar 1: Bilgam's Bracers

According to legend, Bilgam was the first ever Sorcerer-King, ruling over the First City. The orcs , the bronze elves and the reptilians all claim that Bilgam was of their people. Supposedly he was taller than any man, and at least twice as strong, with being the son of Atar-Numash , and the demigoddess Uta. These bracers are said to have been his. The bracers themselves are curious indeed. They are made from a leather not found on this world anymore. Many suspect it to be demonhide, while the more grounded explanation, is that it is from some elder beast that thankfully became extinct since. The bracers also feature gold and silver decorations, consisting of a simple geometric design. At first glance the bracers don’t seem to have any obvious magical effect, but after saying a quick prayer to Hath-Ur , they awaken.
